Description: Workplace success depends not only on how smart or knowledgeable we are, but also on how well we recognize and respond to our own emotions and to the emotions of others. A person’s emotional intelligence (EQ), like his or her intellectual intelligence (IQ), both predicts and significantly contributes to an individual’s success and to the effectiveness of his or her groups. We'll explore the various elements of emotional intelligence. This class will help you better understand the physical nature of emotions and how to act appropriately using the information that emotions deliver.
