Anna is the Manager of Talent Development. Her experience includes over eleven years in Human Resources in healthcare, higher education, and at a Fortune 500 company leading consulting work in Talent Management, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, Organization Effectiveness, and Talent Acquisition. Anna holds an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a Ph.D. in Psychology, specializing in Organizational Behavior from Western Michigan University.
As an organizational development consultant, Theran helps individuals and teams work more effectively and collaboratively. An experienced facilitator with experience in the public and private sectors, Theran is passionate about personality styles, dealing with change, and creates unique learning experiences designed to help individuals develop personally and professionally regardless of role or responsibility. Theran completed his undergraduate degree at James Madison University, obtained a Master’s degree in Education from Northern Illinois University, and earned his MBA from the College of William and Mary.
Wayne is a senior level consultant that has influenced decision-making and change in many industry-leading, forward thinking organizations over the past 25 years. His success is directly related to providing organizational assessments, executive coaching, leadership development, goal development and building strong, honest relationships.
Tyler is an Organizational Development Consultant with experience in the academic healthcare and corporate sectors and a passion for developing programs and interventions that support employee engagement, culture, and talent development. Tyler holds a Bachelor’s degree in German Language from the University of Mary Washington and an MBA with a focus in Leadership and Organizational Change Management from Pepperdine University.
Raymond is a passionate and dynamic speaker, facilitator and consultant who aims to engage, equip and empower others for their personal and organizational success. He holds a master’s degree in human resource development from James Madison University and is an expert facilitator/consultant in the areas of personal development, organizational effectiveness, team building, and leadership. He serves as an organizational development consultant for University of Virginia with a focus on supporting the Health System. His passions outside of work include loving his wife Sarah and his children (Makenzie, Roman and Briella) and serving at his local church mentoring men and married couples. The core of Raymond’s work is best put by the words of Harvey Firestone, “It is only as we develop others that we permanently succeed.”
Anne is an organization development consultant with over 25 years’ experience. She works to help individuals, groups and the organizations flourish. She has worked banking, accounting, homebuilding, insurance and most recently, health care. Anne specializes in leadership development, team development, positive psychology, and Appreciative Inquiry. She is the co-author of a book and several articles published on Appreciative Inquiry. Anne received a M.A. Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from George Mason University in Fairfax VA.

Larisa’s background includes over 20 years of experience in project coordination and program administration for UVA Health System. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric and Communications Studies from the University of Virginia.
Aryn is a Learning & Development Consultant with passion and experience in Leadership Development, Coaching, Peer-to-Peer Mentoring, Diversity & Inclusion, Relationship Management, and a variety of personality styles assessments. Aryn holds a Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management from University of Richmond and an active Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. When not in a classroom or developing training, Aryn enjoys spending time with her husband (Dan) and son (Tyler) and is always in the planning stages of their next camping trip, cruise, or Disney vacation!
Ashley is a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), qualified in the strategic design and facilitation of learning and development programs, facilitation of HR audits, full cycle recruitment, policy design, and benefits administration. She has over 10 years of human resource management and training experience in diverse environments including a Fortune 500 global retailer and a small, DC-based non-profit organization. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women’s Studies from University of Arizona and a certificate in Human Resource Management from George Mason University.
Meganne is an Instructional Designer and lifelong learner. She is responsible for creating formal and informal learning solutions using a variety of methods. Her expertise is restructuring content with the learner in mind while incorporating an array of learning strategies, tools, and approaches to appeal to learners. She is focused on outcomes over content and interaction over questions, and aims to maximize both learner motivation and learner application. Meganne completed her undergraduate degree in Communications and graduate degree in Adult Education/Human Resource Development from James Madison University. She was also part of the Association for Talent Development’s (ATD) first cohort for the Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) certification.
Rose is a Senior Learning and Development Consultant. Rose has 25+ years of experience in Human Resources in healthcare as well as higher education. Her background includes recruitment, compensation, employee relations, corporate training programs, curriculum design, and classroom facilitation, Rose also serves as a leadership coach and is an active professional speaker. Rose has earned several professional certifications and has a Master’s degree in Management and Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration from Ohio University.
Laurie is a Senior Learning & Development Consultant on the Talent Development team. An experienced facilitator and curriculum designer, Laurie enjoys working with individuals and groups in both face-to-face and online learning environments. Laurie earned a B.A. in Spanish from George Mason University, a M.A. in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, has a Graduate Certificate in Autism Intervention from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and a Ph.D. in Education, specializing in Instructional Design for Online Learning and Autism Spectrum Disorders from Capella University.

Lisa has worked at Ford Motor Company, American Express, as an adjunct professor teaching business courses to undergraduate and graduate students, and owner her own business. Throughout her career she achieved business results, nurtured and built long-term relationships/partnerships, and developed leaders across the public and private sectors. She enjoys coaching, motivational speaking and working with young adults and college students. Maureen has proven experience in working with senior leaders and teams to support transition and change efforts through strategic planning, team building, and improved communications. As US Delivery Executive for IBM Learning Services, she successfully managed a multi-million dollar business for IBM hardware and software conferences, custom and open enrollment training. She also was a global project leader for the restructuring of IBM’s training business in 60+ countries, which gave her valuable experience in the impact of personal and organizational culture on change efforts. While at IBM, Maureen created a mentoring and training program for minority and high potential employees to help increase the pipeline of future leaders and held management and executive positions for 21 of her 25 year career.
Brenda HarringtonPartner Consultant and Certified Coach
Navigating transitions has been an archetype of Brenda’s career. From her work with AT&T’s first Consumer Market program following the break-up of the Bell System, to her responsibility for post-acquisition integration as an executive with a Mid-Atlantic management firm, she is experienced with helping people manage change. An aspect of this is reflected in her extensive work with employee mobility and relocation that is focused on helping leaders and key talent succeed when adjusting to new surroundings. Brenda earned her leadership coaching certification from Georgetown University. In addition to her coaching and consulting practice, she is a member of the Global Delivery Team for Harvard Business Publishing (HBP), responsible for delivering leadership development curricula to HBP corporate clients worldwide.
Tom enjoys the challenge of working with people problems in a wide variety of settings. As a clinical psychologist and business consultant, Tom looks at performance in the context of environment and personality. Graduating from UVA’s Curry Program, Tom taught their consultation seminar for a number of years. He has consulted in schools, hospitals, and businesses with individuals and teams. His work is process focused: understanding unique individuals in challenging circumstances. Tom has also taken leadership positions in giving back to his community and profession. Whether through local nonprofit organizations or the Board of Directors of the American Psychological Association, Tom has experienced the challenges of leadership firsthand.
Mark has a proven record as an executive working at senior levels of large and small organizations to drive major business results. He directly led global teams of over 375 employees, and worked with peers on teams of nearly 6000. With extensive experience in technology leadership and product development at VeriSign, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and IBM, his global teams built and expanded systems that supported literally billions of transactions per day. These teams were built and led by developing a clear vision and delivered through pragmatic systematic organizational change. His love of developing leaders led him to establish empowering LEADERS LLC.
Kelly brings both leadership coaching and organizational development experience from her 20+ year career in the field. She held a leadership role at McKinsey & Co. for 13 years in which she designed and led the roll out of numerous employee development and retention programs, coached consultants and support staff globally and developed two internal start-up groups. She has worked with teams in the private, nonprofit, governmental and academic sectors. She received formal training in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. Kelly deeply believes in the importance of developing teams and individuals to bring about the greatest organizational success and personal fulfillment.
Tom has been a management consultant for the over 18 years. He provides leadership and management development services to clients in a wide variety of fields, including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, construction and higher education. Tom also consults with college and professional sport teams, and he spent June 2010 in South Africa working with the U.S. Men’s Soccer Team at the World Cup as their sport psychologist. Tom holds a Ph.D. in sport psychology from the University of Virginia.
